The Action Centre located at Local 222 provides peer-led support for un- and underemployed Unifor members including organizing events such as job fairs, but also provide direct support to members seeking new employment, retraining, and skills upgrading. Two separate Action Centers were opened in early January of  2024 supporting all 3914 members. One located in Oshawa to support Local 222 members of Lear Ajax and Local 1285 located in Brampton to assist with many different units affected by the EV Transition.
